About the Author

Gennifer Benjamin Brooks is the Styberg Associate Professor of Homiletics and Director of the Styberg Preaching Institute at Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary. She is an elder in the New York Conference of the United Methodist Church. She holds a Ph.D. from Drew University and a D.Min. and M.Div from New Brunswick Theological Seminary. Brooks is the author of Good News Preaching: Offering the Gospel in Every Sermon (2009).
