About the Author
Joan Brown Campbell is an ordained minister with standing in the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) and the American Baptist Church. Her accomplishments and achievements include eleven honorary doctorate degrees. She is a sought after lecturer, preacher and author of Living Into Hope: A Call to Spiritual Action for Such a Time as This (2010). She has served as the director of Religion at the Chautauqua Institution for the past thirteen years.
