About the Authors

Johnna Fredrickson, a clergy spouse, is a Christian educator who has taught in seminaries, churches, and denominational organizations. She currently serves St. John the Evangelist Episcopal Church in Duxbury, Massachusetts. Fredrickson earned her Ph.D. in Practical Theology from Princeton Theological Seminary.

William A. Smith, Ph.D., is a licensed marriage and family therapist and clinical member of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy. He works in private practice in Bedford, New Hampshire, and is an adjunct instructor in the University of New Hampshire's Marriage and Family Therapy program.
