Christ, Creeds and Life | Conversations about the Center of Our Faith (Thayer and Jacobsen, editors)
Studying UCC Faith
This book focuses on the 1981 doxological version of the United Church of Christ's Statement of Faith.
Composed by the Theological Commission of the Penn Central Conference of the United Church of Christ and edited by commission members Thayer and Jacobsen, it seeks to help laity think theologically about confessions of faith, both traditional and in hymns, and how they might enlighten faithful living.
This book is ideal for small group settings and adult and high school church school classes. Depending upon the leader's preference, it can be used for nine or ten sessions.
