About the Authors

Randy Hammer is an ordained minister in both the United Church of Christ and the Presbyterian Church. He holds an M.Div. from Memphis Theological Seminary and a D.Min from Meadville Lombard Theological Seminary. He is the author of several books from The Pilgrim Press, including: The Talking Stick: 40 Children’s Sermons with Activities (2007), The Singing Bowl: 26 Children’s Sermons (2009) and What’s So Amazing About Polar Bears? Teaching Kids to Care for Creation (2011).

Suzanne Blokland holds a B.A. in philosophy and an M.A. in ethics from Vanderbilt University.
